How much are tutoring sessions?
Depending on the service you receive, sessions cost anywhere from $15-$45/hour. One to one tutoring costs $45/hour. I may be able to offer discounts depending on the number of classes you sign up for, the location of the sessions, and the number of hours you take per week.

How often do we meet?
Due to time limitations, I give priority to students who meet for two hours a week or more.
What age groups do you teach? Do you teach children?
While most of my professional teaching experience has been with adults over age 20, I have spent a lot of time working with children in educational and tutoring settings. The majority of my experience teaching children has been within the 8-15 age range.

New groups are being formed all the time. Since I form group ESL classes based on interest, click here to let me know you're interested. Your name will be placed on the waiting list for a new group session.
Can you tutor in my home?
Yes, in most situations, tutoring in your home is possible.
Can you teach in my office or place of employment?
Yes. Please have your supervisor or human resources department contact me.
Can we meet at the library?
Yes. Meeting at a library is possible for most purposes. Consider, though, if you want a speaking lesson, the library might not be the best place to meet.
Where do you offer group classes?
I travel to wherever students decide to meet. Groups organized by ALLENGLISH are offered in different classroom settings around the Richmond area depending on where most of the students live.
How long have you been teaching?
I have over 12 years of experience in a variety of educational settings in Europe, New Mexico, and in Virginia. I started teaching professionally in 1997.  From 1999-2002, worked for non-profit organizations, freelance tutoring all the while, but returned to teaching in 2002.
What are your qualifications?
I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Education At-Risk Youth, EmphasisTESOL-Multicultural from the College of Santa Fe, an International Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from The TEFL Training Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature with a major in Spanish and a minor in French from Frostburg State University.
