Step 4: Determine Your Goal

Remember, you’re not just delivering a speech about your expertise of the topic.  You’re writing to inform, to educate, and to generate involvement.  What is the goal of your speech?

Write a sentence that explains your goal.  What do you want people to learn from hearing your speech?
