Speech Writing Process

Appendix B
How to brainstorm

Relax for a minute and clear your mind.  When you feel relaxed, begin writing anything.  Don’t worry about spelling or grammar.  Don’t write in complete sentences.  Don't worry about what others will say.

A brainstorm can look be a list, a group of words or an idea. There is no right or wrong way to brainstorm. Just keep your mind open and write everything you can think of for 3-4 minutes. Say whatever is on your mind.
