Step 7: Make an Outline

An outline provides the structure for the introduction, body, and conclusion of your speech.  It can also serve as your script.

  1. Introduction (include the goal)

 

  1. Body (separate your speaking points into three or four different groups)

  1. Conclusion (include something that your audience will remember)
