Ever since I started college three months ago, I hadn’t been to my hometown until last weekend. My hometown has a plaza in the town center where people love to hang out on nice days and on the weekends. Last Sunday, I looked around and saw many people I knew growing up. Todd and Sarah were sitting on a bench. They were talking about what they were going to eat for dinner later. Behind them, there was a young boy whose two older brothers were playing keep-away with his toy. Our neighbors’ kids, Ann and Nancy were also there. Ann was trying to catch a dog that was running loose in the street, and Nancy was watching them. There was also a group of students who were doing work on their laptops. Everyone was relaxing, and no one was rushing like they would on a Monday morning. While I was driving back to college, I remembered how nice it was to see everyone again.
