Student: How long have you worked in the health profession?
Nursing Representative: Actually, I have recently changed careers. After high school, I didn’t know what I wanted to do, so I supported myself by waiting tables. My father has had a hospice nurse live with us since he was diagnosed with cancer in 2008. I became acquainted with her and learned more about her profession. Since then, I have enrolled in classes towards my nursing degree, and I haven’t regretted a minute of it.
