A Day in the Life of a Graphic Designer
I wake up at 6:00 am. I have to be to work by 7:30. If I leave the house at 7:15, there is never any traffic. The day starts with a meeting with our marketing team. My co-worker tells me where she stands and what our clients expect for the projects that I design. I take notes. After the meeting, I work on the projects and make any necessary changes to existing projects. Then, before I go to lunch, I submit those changes for approval. I go to lunch at noon. At 1:00, I check my e-mails to see if there are any new changes. Usually, my boss informs me that there are some minor adjustments which I quickly complete and resubmit for approval. The design work for the day is completed by 3:00. From 3:00 until the end of the day, I set deadlines for future projects, return phone calls and e-mails, and do research on the latest design tools. A typical day is busy, but I enjoy what I do.
