Future with Going to

Mrs. Clark

The neighbors are going to have a party for Mrs. Thomas’ 60th birthday. It’s going to be a beautiful day! Are you going to go?

Mr. Higgins

I’m not sure if I’m going to go.  Do you know if they are going to send invitations?

Mrs. Clark

They are not going to send invitations because it’s just going to be a small party for all of the neighbors.

Mr. Higgins

Oh, in that case, I’ll go.  Are they going to need any food? 

Mrs. Clark

Since Mr. Thomas is a caterer, I imagine they’re not going to require any additional food, but they are going to need some help.  They’re going to need 25 chairs and some plates and napkins.  I’m going to bring an extra table, and Dave’s going to arrive early to help set everything up. 

Mr. Higgins

I bet they’re going to want some music.  I’ll load up my iPod and set up some speakers.
